Your Dreams Can Come True — But What If Your Health Fails You?

Health

There comes a time in life when all the little pieces you’ve been struggling to put together finally begin to fall into place. The sleepless nights, the endless prayers, the moments you doubted yourself but still kept going — they all begin to make sense. Doors that were once locked tight start to creak open, dreams that felt far away suddenly come closer, and the hard work that nobody saw begins to show its fruit. It’s that beautiful season when life finally whispers, “Now it’s your turn.”

And when everything start working according to your plan. May your health not fail you.

But in the midst of all this progress, there is something we rarely talk about — the one blessing that quietly determines whether we can enjoy everything we’ve been working for. Health. Because what is wealth if you don’t have the strength to get out of bed and live it? What is success if your body and mind cannot carry you through the very life you’ve been building for so long?

Too often, we chase success with everything in us and forget that our bodies are the engines that will drive us there. We ignore rest, we skip meals, we push through pain and silence exhaustion, all in the name of hustle. We tell ourselves, “When I finally make it, I’ll rest.” But what if your health gives up before that day comes? What if, when everything finally begins to align, you no longer have the energy to live inside the life you once prayed for?

It is a sobering thought, but also a gentle reminder: health is the first wealth. Without it, every other blessing loses its shine. The beautiful house, the dream car, the job promotion, the business breakthrough — they all mean little if you don’t have the strength to enjoy them. And so, as much as we pray for open doors, may we also pray for strong bodies and steady minds. As much as we invest in our goals, may we invest in our well-being too.

This is not to say that health is always in our control. Life happens, and sometimes even the strongest among us face battles we never asked for. But in the little ways we can, let’s choose to care for ourselves. Let’s eat better, rest when our bodies cry out, breathe when the stress feels too heavy, and allow ourselves to heal when we need it. Ambition is good, but it should never come at the cost of the vessel that carries it.

Health

So here’s my prayer for you: when the doors open, may you be strong enough to walk through them. When your dreams take shape, may your body and mind be healthy enough to carry them. When everything finally starts going according to plan, may your health not betray you. Because success is not just about arriving — it is about being present enough to enjoy the arrival.

If you are in a season where things are not yet working, hold on — your turn will come. And if you are in a season where the blessings are beginning to show, pause and be grateful, but also take care of yourself. Life is not just about building; it is also about being alive and well enough to enjoy what you’ve built.

So keep going, keep fighting, keep showing up. Your dreams are valid, and your hard work will not be wasted. But as you rise, do not forget this simple truth: the greatest success is not just achieving, but being healthy enough to live the life you once cried for.

And when everything finally starts to go according to plan, may your health never fail you.
